Australia as a nation has reflected an identity of mateship, a fair go, the Aussie battler, egalitarianism, multiculturalism, larrikinism, and the lucky country are often cited, as what true Australia is all about… Is that really the case today?
The Australian way depicted in numerous movies ranging from “They’re a Weird Mob” where An Italian sports journalist arrives in Australia to find his cousin’s new magazine for migrant Italians has folded. He soon gets a job as a builder’s labourer, learns to talk, and drink like an Australian, and falls in love with an Australian girl.
A comic story that touched on the ragging of the Aussie European migrant through to the World acclaimed Paul Hogan movie of Crocodile Dundee, where the seriousness and terror around Crocodiles were touched on.
