READERS ARE LEADERS

Most of my early school teachers would constantly harp on reading being essential… As a kid I only did what was necessary and not vital … as time passed I found what the adage “Readers are Leaders” really meant.

As I journeyed through the self-development path, I found many gurus in this community, too, pushed the fact of reading for a minimum of 30 mins a day. This is as vital, for our sustenance.

Jim Rohn, one of the self-development gurus, made mentioned that reading is something of substance, something of value, something that was nourishing, something that taught you distinctions, was more important than eating. “Miss a meal,” he said, “but don’t miss your reading.”

Today, I am hooked on this habit. If I miss a day it’s like getting to bed without a shower and being wedged between two soiled sheets. It’s a very horrible feeling.

Most of my participants know how much I push this tool for their personal growth. You are welcome to visit my Good reads account, to view some books that might be of interest to you. Here is the link…

Have a pleasant evening…
